Honestly I feel that EVERY woman, regardless of how she wants or ends up birthing she deserves to feel amazing.
We put a lot of emphasis on the birth bit, but not so much on the pregnancy bit. Prehaps if we looked at this as more of a journey we would come to consider that what we do to help ourselves throughout pregnancy and our mindset is so important.
I have helped many women who have achieved their ‘plan a’ birth and equally I have helped many women who have not. Now I get that it may seem a little odd to think I helped someone who didn’t get what they wanted. When it comes down to it women usually want to feel respected, empowered, supported and in control and it IS possible to feel like this even if you don’t end up getting your ‘plan a’. The thing is a lot of the work is in the planning and researching your options because you DO have some!
Throughout the weeks I hope you will start to feel more positive, calm and connected to your baby. Each week new content will be ‘unlocked’ for you (and your birth partner maybe) to work through. We know time is limited at the moment, stress levels are through the roof and some of you will have kids off school with limited time to yourself to enjoy your pregnancy. So with this in mind we have come up with bite sized chunks of the good stuff!
